Aluminum Wheels 
for rubber tires!

 

We are stocking aluminum wheels that will accept rubber tires!  As you can see in the photo these wheels have the grooves on the outside diameter that allow the mounting of rubber tires.  The wheels are machined with a fake "beadlock" rim and fake fasteners for a realistic appearance.  

These wheels require a hub adapter to attach to your axle shaft.  Hub adapters are shown further below on this page.

Wheels are available in both 2.0" and 2.2" diameters and a variety of widths and offsets.

Big and wide like original truck wheels!  Use one on the right-rear along with a smaller 1.75" wheel on the left side for stagger, or run two of these for lots of traction!  

NOTES:
- Wheels with a large front side dimension will increase the track by moving the wheel further away from the centerline of the car.  
- Wheels with a large back side dimension will reduce the track width by moving the wheel further inboard.  
- Remember that wheels with a large back side dimension may interfere with suspension components.  
- Use wheels with different "offsets" to adjust the overall width of your car.  
- Wheels with different "offsets" can also be used to change the handling characteristics of your car.  

 
This photo shows a rubber tire mounted on a 2.0" rear wheel.  The detailed machining of the wheel can be seen on the outer rim edge simulating real beadlock rims.  There is additional detail in the center of the wheel that represents the fasteners of a split-rim type wheel as used on real sprint cars.

The gold piece in the center is the hub adapter #BP4108.  The adapter has been painted gold (they come in plain aluminum) and adapters are not included with the wheels.  
This photo shows the same wheel and tire as above.  The hub adapter is bolted to the wheel using 4-40 x 1/4" or 5/16" button head screws.  
Hub adapters and screws are sold separately.  

 

 Aluminum "Bead Lock" Wheels for foam tires
To give your finished sprint car the most realistic appearance possible install these beautiful aluminum wheels.  Outside diameter 2"; smooth outside for foam tires only.   Adapters are required to mount these wheels on your axles (see adapter information below).

 Slipper Clutch Eliminator #RD0101 - $16.00
Lighter is faster!  Get rid of the slipper clutch on your Stealth transmission and improve the acceleration of your car.  This slipper clutch eliminator slips on the top gearbox shaft and is secured with a 4-40 set screw.   Standard spur gears bolt directly onto the eliminator.

Note: This part is for use on electric cars only.  We do not offer a clutch eliminator for nitro cars.

 

Aluminum Servo Mounts #RWM153 - $11.00

These angled servo mounts are ideal for any of the sprint car conversions using the steering rack.  The mounts are very strong yet lightweight, mounting to the chassis plate with countersunk screws (included).  Four mounting holes on each mount provide a variety of servo heights to get the ideal servo position.

Replace the wide track arms from the GT with these precision aluminum arms to create a narrow front track.  Use with the Aluminum RC10 Rear Arms #BP1015.
Aluminum RC10 Rear Arms  #BP1015 - $36.00/pair
Same dimensions as the original RC10 but much stiffer because these are made from aluminum!  Use these on an RC10-based sprinter to improve performance and durability.  
Install these on your nitro sprinter along with the RC10GT Aluminum Front Arms #BPG1151 for a narrow rear track.
